Mission Statement

The South Dakota Prayer Coalition was formed out of a genuine desire to see Christians engage in prayer and dialogue to impact society. It is our humble desire for people to realize the power of prayer and respond by praying for our nation as well as regional and local leaders. We desire that those who pray and those who govern will be informed by biblical principles in their decision making process.

If you agree that prayer is vitally important and can make a real impact, we hope you will join us at our next prayer gathering or coalition event that is being held.

The SDPC website is intended to be a tool to help facilitate prayer by providing resources with prayer requests for local, state, national, and global issues. The blog also has periodic articles about faith, culture, and the public square. We also have book recommendations for anyone seeking to grow in their relationship with God and feel more connected to him through prayer.

Prayer meetings are held at various times throughout the year. Please see click on the events tab at the top of the webpage to see further details about upcoming events and events that other faith based organizations are holding in Southeastern South Dakota.

If you would like to get in touch with the prayer coalition, please click on the contact us tab, send us an email, and sign up for our email list.

If my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and will heal their land.
